WELCOME

Thank you for dropping by our website. Our heart and focus is becoming and developing vessels of honor. Just like a potter's kiln fires a vessel with applied time and heat… through time and heat we become more like Jesus, a vessel of honor. We desire to assist people in a deepening of relationship in love, service, and acts of kindness. To attract people to a real personal Jesus Christ, and to not bind them into religious forms... but lovingly prayerfully serve as a guide to deeper biblical truths.

Make Disciples

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Integrity Of God's Word

An emphasis on studying Scripture and apologetics. The whole counsel of God Genesis to Revelation.

Our Main Objectives

Become Transformed

Counter to the culture of earth our objective is to bring the culture of heaven to earth. His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

Encourage Gifts

Actively seek to develop and utilize the spiritual abilities given by the Holy Spirit. For the purpose of advancing God’s kingdom.

COME AS YOU ARE

We have a come as you are atmosphere. There’s no pretense. It’s about you being you in Christ. We want you here to experience God. Come ca-sual and comfortable or dressed to the hilt but come with a heart that is open to a move of the Holy Spirit.

WHAT TO EXPECT

WORSHIP STYLE

We desire Spirit lead worship in a generally con-temporary style. It’s easy to approach the throne in worship when you are focusing on the charac-ter of God. He Is good, He Is kind, He Is worthy of all our praise!

CONNECTIONAL

The Potter’s House is a diverse partner-ship of like-minded people who co-labor in mis-sion together based upon a common confession of faith, gospel centered priorities, and growing friendships. We gather together for the greater purpose of the Kingdom of God.

“For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.”

Acts 20:27

We teach the entire counsel of God's Word. The whole purpose of God as referred to in Acts 20:27, encompasses the complete revelation of God's will and plan, particularly as revealed in Scripture. It signifies that Paul, in his ministry, did not withhold any essential truth from the Ephesian elders, but rather, he faithfully declared the entirety of God's message. This includes not only the core gospel message but also the practical implications of living according to God's will.

  • God's Eternal Purposes: The "counsel of God" refers to God's eternal plan and purpose, which He has revealed in Scripture.

  • All Scripture is Profitable: The Bible, as the inspired Word of God, is the primary source for understanding the counsel of God. It is useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

  • Not Cherry-Picking: Preaching or teaching the whole counsel of God means not avoiding or downplaying any part of Scripture. It involves presenting the entirety of God's message, both the comforting and challenging aspects.

  • Comprehensive Understanding: It encourages a holistic understanding of God's Word, recognizing its interconnectedness and how each part contributes to the overall message of salvation and righteous living.

  • Practical Application: The counsel of God isn't just about knowing doctrine; it's about applying it to daily life. It guides believers in their relationships, conduct, and service to God.

Rooted in Truth, Driven by Mission

Rooted in God’s Word, we are driven by a bold mission to reach our community. Our journey is simple: we gather to worship, grow in faith, and go out into the world—equipping every believer to overcome adversity and share the hope of Christ. Discover More

“The greatest miracle that God can do today is to take an unholy man out of an unholy world and make him holy, then put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it.”

― Leonard Ravenhill ―

2 Timothy 2:20-21 NASB - Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver implements, but also implements of wood and of earthenware, and some are for honor while others are for dishonor. Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. Together we hope to become more like Jesus for His purposes and His kingdom.
